Why it matters
PIChef lowers the effort of composing multi-layer prompt-injection and jailbreak payloads against deployed LLMs, so defenders should understand the obfuscation chains (Unicode tags, FlipAttack, QR carriers) it automates in order to test and harden their own AI products.
PIChef is a CyberChef-inspired web workbench for crafting prompt-injection payloads, offering 66 operations and 12 presets that can be chained into recipes (for example FlipAttack text reversal, Task-in-Prompt encoding, hypothetical/academic framing, Unicode invisible-character smuggling, HTML-comment hiding, and QR-code carriers) with a stage waterfall showing every intermediate transformation. The tool lets testers build, inspect, and swap individual steps to experiment with how layered obfuscation evades LLM guardrails.
