Microsoft announced new AI security offerings at a security event, including an agentic system called Project Perception that coordinates red, blue, and green team agents, and its first security-specialized model MAI-Cyber-1-Flash for software vulnerability analysis inside the MDASH bug-hunting harness. Microsoft also launched a research arm (Security FORGE Labs) and an External Red Team Alliance (EXTRA) for AI red-teaming.
